Assessing Department
The Assessor’s Office is the governmental officials charged with annually discovering, listing, and valuing all taxable property within the City of Auburn Hills.
City Clerk’s Office
The City Clerk’s Office prides itself in providing friendly, professional public service and maintaining the integrity of the public records of the City of Auburn Hills. We are pleased to offer greater and more efficient access to public services and information on our new web site and will continue to identify community needs and enhance our electronic services responsively.
City Council
The City Council is composed of seven members elected on a non-partisan basis to represent the entire city. The City Council selects, among its members, a Mayor and a Mayor Pro-Tem. The City Council is the legislative and policy making body. Acting as a whole, the City Council is responsible for adopting ordinances and setting the direction of City policy.
City Manager’s Office
The City Manager is the chief administrative officer for the City of Auburn Hills and is responsible for the day to day operations of the City. The City Manager is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the City Council. His role is to implement the policies as set forth by the City Council. The City Manager also attends all City Council meetings and reports directly to the City Council on all City matters.

The Community Development Department consists of Building Services, Planning and Zoning Services, Economic Development Services, and Code Enforcement Services. Please contact us if we can help you in these areas. We are committed to serving you quickly and efficiently.

Fire Department
The Auburn Hills Fire Department originated as a volunteer fire department in 1942 serving Pontiac Township . Today the Auburn Hills Fire Department is professionally staffed with fourteen career and forty part-time personnel serving 17 square miles with a residential population of 20,000 and a day-time population of over 60,000. Annually the department responds to over 2500 calls for service with an ISO rating of 5. The department is comprised of three divisions Administrative Services, Fire Prevention and Operations.

The City's Information Technology needs are supported by Analysts International Sequoia Services Group.
Library
It is the mission of the Auburn Hills Public Library to serve people of all ages by actively supporting the informational, educational and recreational needs of the community, thus enhancing the quality of life for its patrons.
Parks and Recreation Department
Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Auburn Hills by providing quality parks and recreation opportunities and a variety of affordable year-round programs and special events for people of all ages.
Police Department
The Auburn Hills Police Department's Mission is to continually improve the safety and quality of life within our community, through a broad base of traditional and innovative services while protecting constitutional and basic human rights. All members of this department will at all times stand accountable for their conduct.

Senior Services
The mission of the City of Auburn Hills Senior Citizens Services Department is to act as a community focal point on aging, where seniors, families, caregivers and the community can come for services, information and support in relation to aging. The Senior Services Department will strive to provide effective, informative, current and friendly programs, services and events.
Treasurer's Office
All monies paid to the City are received and accounted for through this department. The Treasurer’s Office serves as the central location for all revenue collections and is responsible for all deposits and investments. These include revenues directly collected by the Treasurer’s Office and revenues collected by other areas and reported to the Treasurer’s Office. This includes billing and collection of property taxes with subsequent distribution of those collections to Avondale, Lake Orion, Rochester, and Pontiac Schools, Oakland Intermediate Schools, Oakland County, Oakland Community College, State of Michigan and of course the City of Auburn Hills.
