Station One
  
Located at 3483 Auburn Road this station houses an arial truck, basic life support ambulance, an engine, a utility vehicle and the special response truck.
 
 
Station Two
  
Located at 1899 North Squirrel Road holds an arial truck, an engine, a basic life support ambulance, an advanced life support ambulance and a utility vehicle.
 
 
Station Three
  
Located at 3253 Joslyn Road this station houses an arial truck, a basic life support ambulance, two engines and a utility vehicle.
 
Department Vehicles

Alpha 2

This ambulance is the newest addition to the AHFD fleet.  It's a 2008 Lifeline Medium Duty Ambulance.  This vehicle is built on a 4500 Chevrolet Chassis and has a 6.6L Duramax Diesel Motor.  This state of the art ambulance has all the latest features including: a full LED light package, custom sirens and specially designed air horns.  This unit is staffed full-time with at least one paramedic and runs out of Station 2.

Our engine companies carry equipment that supports the quints during fire fighting operations.  The Engines also carry extrication equipment that often gets used on motor vehicle accidents. Engine 1 is a 2005 Westates with a 1,500 gpm pump, 500 gallon water tank and a 40 gallon foam tank. Engine 2 has the same statistics, but was manufactured in 2006.  Engine 2, is the only Engine in the city that in addition to carrying all the necessary equipment for fire fighting, also carries a full set of advanced life support equipment.  Engine 2 is staffed full time with at least one paramedic. 


 Quints
Truck 1, 2 & 3
Trucks

Ladder companies are E-One Quints which are combination engine and aerial apparatus. Our quints are equipped with 75 foot ladders, 1,500 gpm pumps and 500 gallon water tanks. Equipment carried on the apparatus supports both fire fighting and rescue operations. Trucks 1 & 3 were purchased in 1997 and Truck 2 was purchased in 1998.

This vehicle is the primary ambulance for Station 1.  It's a 2003 Wheel Coach custom ambulance, built on a F-450 Ford Chassis.  The unit has a 7.0L International Motor.

SR1
Special Response Unit

The special response vehicle is equipped for response to water rescue, high and low angle rescue, hazardous material, heavy rescue and trench rescue incidents. The special response vehicle also serves as the department command vehicle and is equipped with multiple radios, computers and research materials. SR1 is also capable of refilling airbottles with six, six-thousand pound bottles as part of a cascade system. It was purchased in 2001 from Hackney.

Dodge Durango
Utility 1 & 3

Our utility vehicles are retired rescues that allow for easier transport of personnel and equipment to calls or drills.
