New Parks & Recreation Master Plan - help shape the future!

We hope you’ve been enjoying some of the city's parks and recreational opportunities offered throughout the year.  The Auburn Hills park system has been carefully planned and developed over the years, and the facilities, along with community special events and recreational programs, have become a source of pride for residents.  One of tools used to help guide the city in these efforts to meet the on-going needs of the community is the Parks & Recreation Master Plan.  The Master Plan is a five-year plan designed to identify community needs and to develop a plan of action - with public participation in the planning process being the key ingredient.  With that in mind, the city will be updating its’ current Parks & Recreation Master Plan and needs your input to make the plan the best it can be!

This summer, we encourage you to share your thoughts and provide your input into the new plan.  In just a few minutes you could: complete a brief questionnaire which will be available at various special events and programs; visit our website at www.auburnhills.org to print off and complete the questionnaire; email the Recreation Director at bmarzolf@auburnhills.org; call him at (248) 370-9353; or stop in to the Community Center to discuss your thoughts and ideas on parks and recreation in Auburn Hills.
