Picnic Kits include a variety of equipment including softballs, bats, playground balls, frisbees and more.  Other equipment such as volleyball nets, shuffleboard, horseshoes and others is also available.  Residents no charge, nominal fee for non-resident use.

Did you know you or your group can rent a cabin(s) for overnight camping right here in Auburn Hills?  We have 6 cabins that sleep four each and one, two-story log cabin Lodge  at the E. Dale Fisk Hawk Woods Nature Center that can be rented in-season between April 1 and November 1.  Deposit and rental fees due one month in advance of reservation date(s).  Details and costs are included in the Parks and Facilities section.  

If you are interested in volunteering your time to help with an activity or special event, just give us a call.  We also offer a Teen Volunteer Program for students in grades 9-12 designed to offer opportunities to gain valuable working experience and earn community service hours.  Contact Mikey Gorak, Recreation Coordinator if your are interested.

The Parks & Recreation Department schedules public use of picnic shelters and other park facilities in Civic Center Park, River Woods Park, Riverside Park, the E. Dale Fisk Hawk Woods Nature Center, and the Community Center.
