Memorial Tree/Bench Program

In 1990 The City of Auburn Hills Beautification Advisory Commission initiated the Memorial tree program to give individuals an opportunity to commemorate the life of a loved one with a living memorial. The program allows interested parties to purchase a tree and have it planted in city parks or in other public spaces. The tree will also be placed with a plaque for a brief honor statement (in memory of). In recent years the program has been modified to include some park amenities.
